Transformers: Limited Edition Steelbooks 6-Movie Collection

The Transformers franchise is hardly great with maybe only the first two being passably entertaining, the rest just action-porn with non-sensical plot and CGI vs. CGI fights that were more tiresome rather than exciting.

Even Money Blu-ray Review

I usually enjoy these interconnected ensemble movies but Even Money never quite gelled though the performances from Danny DeVito, Tim Roth were rather good, but not enough to make this a must rental or purchase.

X-Men: 3-Film Collection 4K Ultra HD + BD Screen Caps

This X-Men: 3-Film Collection is okay and does come with good video upgrade and already solid audio, however the big downside with this set is that the studio failed to port over the second discs for each film which contained some expansive documentaries.

Transformers: Age of Extinction 4K Ultra HD Review

Transformers: Age of Extinction is the latest from Michael Bay and to be honest, it very well may be the worst, even worse than Revenge of the Fallen if only because it clocks in at insanely ridiculous 165-minutes, 40+ minutes could’ve been cut and not have been missed.

Review: Neighbors 2 BD + Screen Caps

Neighbors 2 is yet another needless sequel to a comedy and although it deviates somewhat from the original, the laughs, albeit a few, weren’t as consistent and there was an uncomfortable mean streak at times, something I generally loathe from a comedy.

Just Visiting Blu-ray Review

Just Visiting is really the typical film to come from the early 21st century and, from what I’ve read, a poor remake of the French original where it appears filmmakers brought in John Hughes to “Americanize” the story and for that, it makes for a safe but utterly forgettable movie.

Review: Entourage: The Movie BD + Screen Caps

Entourage: The Movie isn’t bad in the same way as films like Transformers: Age of Extinction or Muck are but instead it’s just a self-indulgent flick where Hollywood stars can rub shoulders with one another and have a good time with it. That said, I suppose if you’re a fan of the series, which I was at one point for the first few seasons, this might be satisfactory if only because it’s serves as an extended episode.

Reach Me Blu-ray Review

Reach Me is a mess of a film that began with the screenplay and continued on with some poor performances by a mostly respectable cast. This is something not even worth a rental and will no doubt be in the bargain bin in no time.

The Expendables 3 Blu-ray Review

The Expendables 3 continues a franchise that had more promise than delivering the goods, but still this wasn’t a terrible film, just underwhelming and at times a tad dull. I still enjoyed seeing these 1980s action stars together so it’s not a complete waste of time, but at best this is only a rental.

Transformers: Age of Extinction 3D Blu-ray Review

Transformers: Age of Extinction is the latest from Michael Bay and to be honest, it very well may be the worst, even worse than Revenge of the Fallen if only because it clocks in at an insane (and inane) 165-minutes and 40+ minutes could’ve been cut and not have been missed. Once again we get some bland human characters and a storyline that doesn’t make a heck of a lot sense.

The Simpsons: Season 14 Blu-ray Review

“The Simpsons” The Fourteenth Season might not be the best the show has had to offer but there are more than a few laughs to be had. The stories do get a bit repetitive but if you’re a die-hard fan, you’ll probably get more out of it than I had.
