I usually enjoy these interconnected ensemble movies but Even Money never quite gelled though the performances from Danny DeVito, Tim Roth were rather good, but not enough to make this a must rental or purchase.

Review: Cherry Falls BD + Screen Caps

Cherry Falls isn’t a very well made horror flick because for one, the killer isn’t nearly as mysterious as the filmmakers wanted it to be and it clearly took more than a few cues from Scream with a mixture of horror and comedy.

The Incredible Burt Wonderstone Blu-ray Review

Although hardly the perfect comedy, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone still has plenty of laughs going for it. Steve Carell is more or less Michael Scott, and any other character he’s played in his other comedic efforts, but the supporting cast gives good performances and I for one managed to laugh more than a few times and was all around amused by the film.

Playing by Heart Blu-ray Review

I enjoy Playing by Heart for what it is, a fun, if not overly dramatic, ensemble with some good performances as well as clichéd storytelling, especially in one of the storylines. That being said, this is the poorest excuse of a Blu-ray release I’ve ever come across.
