Dazed and Confused doesn’t quite live up to what I’ve heard about the film and yet there is a cool factor and a certain sense of nostalgia that makes this liberally boundless story so damn enjoyable through and through.
The Return of Swamp Thing is pretty much a sequel-in-name-only and stars Heather Locklear, Louis Jourdan and Dick Durock as the titular character.

Cloverfield has held up pretty well since the (nearly) 10 years since its release. Sure, the dialogue isn’t the sharpest and T.J. Miller got on my nerves, but the suspense is well done and there was some actual emotional resonance with these characters.

London debuts on Blu-ray through Mill Creek Entertainment and stars Chris Evans, Jason Statham, Jessica Biel and Joy Bryant. No features were included, however.
Death Wish is quintessential 1970s crime and grit and with the performance of Charles Bronson makes it a classic in its own right. It’s a fairly thought-provoking flick as well about vigilante justice and its effect on society.

Black Adam is the latest installment within the DCEU and while I was at least moderately entertained, the story felt disjointed but it’s worse offense is the introduction several new characters, most notably the Justice Society.
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is a holiday classic and for me a must-watch every year. This newest edition does have good video and audio transfers, just a shame there wasn’t more than a commentary track and trailer.

Top Gun: Maverick is just a fun and entertaining action-suspense-drama that pays homage to the original without feeling forced and is well worth watching.
