The Final Word on Physical Media
Project Hail Mary is, sadly, one of the more rare feel-good movies in quite a while, a science fiction drama, with bits of humor, which the entire family will enjoy. Ryan Gosling is great as usual and the Eridian character was so much fun and a great all-around character.
It’s pretty clear the Scary Movie franchise should’ve remained dead (at least in my eyes), but considering it made a massive $230 million worldwide off of a $30 million budget, we’ll probably get another one down the pike.
No one would ever accuse The Fast and the Furious to be some top-notch action-thriller with memorable dialogue or phenomenal performances, but now going on 25 years later there is no doubt it is a lot of fun.

All in all, Mortal Kombat II is at least a decent enough step up from the 2021 installment and a masterpiece compared to Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. The addition of Karl Urban as Johnny Cage makes this one entertaining.
Lee Cronin’s The Mummy isn’t your classic version of the monster but instead a gory supernatural-horror about possession. The 4K Ultra HD was released on July 14th.

Sleepers is one of those dramas that delves into a dark subject and while the performances are all well done, and all in all recommend watching, it doesn’t quite have a lasting impact.
Eraser is not one that will be remembered in Schwarzenegger’s filmography though it’s hardly his worst outing either, and as it is, the movie is certainly watchable and entertaining way to pass 115 minutes.
Scream 7 is easily the worst in the franchise, even eclipsing Scream 3, as this one was so lazy and felt slapped together.
Zodiac Killer Project is a documentary about a documentary that didn’t get made. The Blu-ray includes some featurettes.
The Key is another erotic drama from Tinto Brass and while it might not have the strongest story, it is a classy looking movie at the very least and although this isn’t my favorite type of film, I can appreciate the passion that went into it.
The Running Man is perfectly entertaining but didn’t quite swing for the fences and tried at times to be as bonkers as something like Mad Max: Fury Road but instead stepped back into your traditional Hollywood action-er.
Network is a film ahead of its time and the message is more apt today than ever before. Beyond that, the performances are all excellent to go along with sharp dialogue and solid direction from Sidney Lumet.

Regretting You is a romantic-drama starring Allison Williams, McKenna Grace, Dave Franco, Mason Thames and Scott Eastwood and arrives on Blu-ray through Paramount Pictures.
All the President’s Men is one of those rare movies that stand the test of time in both quality and subject matter. Not only is the story fascinating but the components of the film itself top notch.
