From Hell It Came is just the usual, and crappy, horror/fantasy that came out of the 1950s with cheap effects, bad acting and an all around lousy story. I suppose if you’re into that era, this might be worth picking up.
Streets of Fire is a rare breed of film that features a unique yet familiar style and with some interesting casting choices, two of them brilliant with the young Diane Lane and Willem Dafoe.

Caltiki: The Immortal Monster is a quirky 1950s Italian flick that is part silly, part respectable for its effects work that is worthy of watching if only for that aspect, and viewing with friends might make for a fun time.
The Autopsy of Jane Doe was one of the better surprises of the year (so far) with a compelling enough plot and two great performances by Brian Cox and Emile Hirsch.
Rings is simply a terrible horror movie amongst a plethora of terrible horror movies and even the venerable Vincent D’Onofrio couldn’t save this mess. The only thing this entry do is compete with The Ring Two, debating which is dumber.
Django, Prepare a Coffin is one of the very few quasi-sequels to the original and on its own, is actually not a half bad spaghetti western and features a charismatic and entertaining performance from Terence Hill.
The Rounders is a fun little Western romp starring the two veteran actors, Glenn Ford and Henry Fonda. The Blu-ray released through Warner’s Archive Collection is limited in the features department (only a trailer) but the video and audio transfers are both well done.
The Marine 5: Battleground is yet another bad entry into a franchise that should not even ever been a franchise in the first place. The problem is, this movie doesn’t fall in the so bad, it’s good territory and thus is a slog to sit through till the bitter and predictable end.
The Girl with All the Gifts is one of the more surprising movies of 2016 more because it’s yet another in a long line of zombie movies that actually manage to entertain even if it doesn’t exactly break new ground in the genre.
Witchtrap is kind of your prototypical 1980s supernatural horror flick that has its moments though only enjoyable for its silliness and hackneyed acting, but there’s an audience for it and you can’t go wrong with it.
This feature debut from Sam Peckinpah is a classic western featuring three fun performances by Randolph Scott, Joel McCrea and Mariette Hartley.
