Creepshow: Season 2 arrives on Blu-ray and DVD from RLJE Films on December 7th. This horror-anthology series features guest stars including Keifer Sutherland, Joey King, Justin Long, Ali Larter and more.
The Resident Evil: Complete Collection is a nice enough set and while I don’t think much about any of the six movies, a couple more serviceable than others, each one benefits from the 4K transfers and come with a good selection of bonus features.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter in all likelihood will not the “final” movie of this flailing franchise and this entry just wasn’t good but not quite awful either, rather forgettable more than anything.
Resident Evil: Afterlife, the fourth movie in the series, is another ho-hum entry with a mundane plot and thinly written supporting characters, though Jovovich is still in fine form and works fine for the role of Alice.
Resident Evil: Extinction isn’t all that good to be honest, but I do appreciate the change in scenery from the cold and dark Umbrella Corporation facilities or the decaying cityscapes, and instead taking place in the desert with Jovovich once again playing her role well enough.
House on Haunted Hill actually was an okay flick for the first two-thirds which had some nice and sometimes spooky atmosphere aided by some nice set designs, but all that is thrown out the window with a finale that was so dumb combined with some laughable visual effects.

Resident Evil: Afterlife isn’t a great film but does possess some entertainment value which is good considering the plot is incredibly thin as is the villain which was merely a knockoff of Mr. Anderson from The Matrix.
Love Sick might’ve made for a fine episode of some slapstick comedy, produced by Chuck Lorre no doubt, or a made-for-TV movie to air on Lifetime or the Hallmark Channel, but as it is, there’s nothing really special going on. LeBlanc and Larter share some charming scenes but put together, the comedy just doesn’t work.
