Nightwing/Shadow of the Hawk Blu-ray Review

Nightwing and Shadow of the Hawk might not be great movies, but each has their own bit of charm, I suppose. The performances from the cast made the most out of the material, especially on Nightwing and I’d say they’re worth a look

Benji: Off the Leash Blu-ray Review

Benji: Off the Leash is an okay family-centric addition to the long-running series that began in 1977 with a reboot having been released in 2018 from Blumhouse. Again, it’s solid enough though the style of humor was never my thing.

Community: The Complete Series Blu-ray Review

Community is an entertaining show that for whatever reason I didn’t watched when it was on TV. But now with a Blu-ray release, it was a great experience catching up and although there are a few episodes that were merely okay, the bulk were utterly hilarious thanks to the sharp writing and its ensemble cast.

Can’t Hardly Wait: 20 Year Reunion Edition Blu-ray Review

Can’t Hardly Wait still is a favorite high school movie of mine, partially because it came out at the end of my junior year and because even though I’ve seen it several times over the years, I still manage to laugh and it’s just a fun, almost comfort-like movie.

America the Beautiful: Complete National Parks Collection Blu-ray Review

America the Beautiful might not be as well produced as something from PBS or NatGeo, but it’s still a relaxing documentary series with some great photography of America’s splendid national parks and does present some interesting trivia.

Happy Endings: The Complete Series Blu-ray Review + Screen Caps

Happy Endings: The Complete Series is another home-run release from Mill Creek providing a home video release, providing it to consumers and fans at a reasonable price and in nice packaging.

Drama 4-in-1 Collection BD

This Drama 4-in-1 Collection is another fine compilation from Mill Creek especially considering the low SRP and getting some at least okay John Travolta movies, though I believe these all were already released on Blu-ray in the past.

80s Overdrive: 6 Movie Collection Blu-ray Review

The 80s Overdrive: 6 Movie Collection is just another re-package job by Mill Creek, a few triple dipping at this point. I guess if you didn’t already own any of these movies, and considering its low SRP, might be worth picking up, otherwise skip.

Scared to Death: Horror Movie Collection DVD

This is a case of quantity over quality here, though there are a couple of decent films like Vacancy and I Know What You Did Last Summer (if you like late 90s slasher horror) but otherwise these are movies previously released by Mill Creek re-packaged together.

The 6 Degrees Collection

The 6 Degrees Collection is another cheap hodge-podge set of movies already released by Mill Creek Entertainment and for those who don’t already own a few of them, it might be worth the $10 price tag as the picture quality was fine and audio adequate enough.

Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? DVD

The 1996 version of Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? was certainly terrible but oh so entertaining especially the laugh-filled finale, along with the poor acting from beginning to end. I can’t quite say the same for the “re-imagining”

9 Lives Movie Collection BD

The 9 Lives Movie Collection is the usual cheap release put out by Mill Creek mostly recycling Sony movies they have the rights for and probably were part of a collection in the past. Considering the movies here, you’re really not getting high quality work but some entertaining flicks mixed in with some bad ones
