Daybreakers is actually a pretty innovative vampire horror film giving viewers an interesting world run by vampires, running short on human blood to survive. The highlight, as he is in most films good and bad, is Willem Dafoe.
Rambo 4K Ultra HD Review
Rambo is an excellent entry into the vaunted franchise and a much needed boost after the disappointing third film. Stallone was in top form and still was believable that he could still kick ass.

The Flash: The Complete Fifth Season Blu-ray Review
The Flash: The Complete Fifth Season was highly entertaining even though I’m not the biggest fan of these “Team” aspects which hurt Arrow, but here, the family dynamic with Barry/Iris/Nora injected some great emotion and the villains were well done.

Apocalypse Now: Final Cut 4K Ultra HD & Blu-ray Review
Hopefully this will satisfy the legendary Francis Ford Coppola. Personally, while I did love Apocalypse Now: Final Cut, and give it an A+ grade, it’s not perfection as the French plantation scene still drags the film down.

Alice, Sweet Alice Blu-ray Review
Alice, Sweet Alice for some reason has cultivated a following over the 40 years since its release and while atmospherically it was decent, the rest wasn’t all that impressive from the stringed-together plot to some laughable over-the-top performances.
Lock Up 4K Ultra HD Review
Could be argued Lock Up was one of Stallone’s best movies of the 1980s and its one where he felt right in his element and although the story isn’t the strongest, it still was highly entertaining and consistently thrilling.

The Hustle Blu-ray Review
The Hustle is actually an appropriate title as this remake is devoid of any originality or even an attempt at it, merely taking every plot point from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. It was all a lazy cash grab, which most remakes are, but this was far more blatant about it.
Poms Blu-ray Review
Poms is a fine, even at times sweet, little comedy-drama featuring some great performances from its older cast, with Diane Keaton still showing she’s got so much charm.

Killers Anonymous had a fun premise and a great actor in Gary Oldman, but neither aspect resulted in anything very entertaining in a movie which consisted of characters in a mostly singular location talking, culminating with a convoluted twist.
