Glengarry Glen Ross: Collector’s Edition Blu-ray Review

Glengarry Glen Ross, after all these years still holds up so well, with sharp, pointed dialogue that only David Mamet can write without coming across as pretentious. Beyond that, top notch performances all around, especially Jack Lemmon.

Baby Driver BD + Screen Caps

Although I wasn’t as head-over-heels for Baby Driver compared to some, a few even calling it subtle which this is not, this still is an entertaining time with a tried and oft successful plot and features some great car chases, the opening especially, and is worthy of a rental at the least.

Review: Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil BD + Screen Caps

Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil is a nice inclusion in Warner’s Archive Collection and while I didn’t particularly think very much of the movie, there’s at least some good elements headlined by another masterful performance from Kevin Spacey and even John Cusack contributes well.

Margin Call Blu-ray Review

Margin Call has some good things going for it like a good ensemble cast, some sharp dialogue and an interesting premise. Superman: The Complete Anthology Blu-ray Review

The Superman: The Complete Anthology is a fine set for sure and while the features are certainly comprehensive between vintage featurettes and multiple expansive documentaries and commentaries, but in particular the video has much to be desired. This isn’t to say they don’t look good but compared with the work Fox did with their Alien complete set, this one pales by comparison.
