The Goldfinch Blu-ray Review

The Goldfinch is a well shot film with a great cast that includes Ansel Elgort, Sarah Paulson, Jeffrey Wright and Nicole Kidman, sadly the story wasn’t very interesting, was a tad too long.

Baby Driver BD + Screen Caps

Although I wasn’t as head-over-heels for Baby Driver compared to some, a few even calling it subtle which this is not, this still is an entertaining time with a tried and oft successful plot and features some great car chases, the opening especially, and is worthy of a rental at the least.

Review: Allegiant BD + Screen Caps

Allegiant is the latest mundane entry in the Divergent Series and while I didn’t think it was classically bad and not an original moment from the production to the visual effects, heavily borrowing from other dystopian-set movies, I can’t say was bored and I at least did care about the Tris character.

Review: Men, Women & Children BD + Screen Caps

The plot for Men, Woman & Children does get heavy-handed towards the end and Garner’s character is more caricature than anything, but despite its flaws, and even though this is hardly Reitman’s strongest film, it’s still a job well done.

Carrie Blu-ray Review

Carrie had the potential to be good with two fine leads in Chloe Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore but instead it proves to be yet another remake that wasn’t needed. Not helping matters is a cast that failed to make much of an impression and in the case of Moretz, had one particular scene which was silly.
