Paradise Road is a movie that has a powerful message and honestly isn’t a bad film with fine performances but in the end never quite makes the impact it was intending and instead was on the forgettable side.

Shattered is a forgettable suspense-thriller although I did think both Cameron Monaghan and newcomer Lilly Krug were decent enough in the leads and maybe this is worth a watch when it’s available for free down the line.
The Gateway is only worth checking out if only for some solid performances, however the story is relatively thin and clocking in around 87 minutes doesn’t allow these characters to be developed.
Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard is probably an unnecessary sequel and it does have its flaws from a flimsy plot and some of the humor doesn’t work, but for the most part I did like the core main characters and the addition of Salma Hayek was the highlight.
I can’t say Cosmic Sin was a disappointment because I went in with lose expectations which were easily met. This isn’t a fun or entertaining movie to watch with one-dimensional characters and a really thin plot and bland villains.
Into the Ashes had some potential but the first 35-40 minutes were meandering at best, dull at worst and nothing in the remaining hour could make up for it, though even then, some storytelling choices were a bit odd.
