Night School is just a poorly made comedy, one which I did not laugh once and goes to show perhaps Kevin Hart’s limitations when he doesn’t have the right director, material and even ensemble cast to work off of.

The House with a Clock in its Walls is a fine enough family fantasy adventure that is certainly flawed with some suspect acting but it was at least enjoyable time.

Castle Rock: The Complete First Season is a fun and entertaining show and that’s coming from someone who generally isn’t the biggest fan of Stephen King; however as a movie buff, there are cool references to some of the King-adapted feature films.

Halloween (2018) was on the disappointing side for me though I don’t consider myself a major fan of the franchise considering there’s really only two good ones, one I consider a guilty pleasure while the rest were either average or pure garbage. I would rank this sequel/reboot in the middle of the pack.
Justice League: Throne of Atlantis is not DCUA’s best output to date but it’s a perfectly entertaining film with a few flaws, primarily the limited running time. But the voice casting is mostly good, even Jason O’Mara, and on the whole I enjoyed it and some of the darker humor.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout is another rounding success in this long-running franchise and for actor Tom Cruise himself who continues to push it up a notch with the action sequences and stunts to go along with a strong enough story to carry it across the finish line.

Although Rambo: First Blood Part II didn’t have as much of an emotional core compared with the first movie and is certainly far more fantastical as well, yet it does have all the hallmarks of an entertaining over-the-top violence-laden action-fest.

Incredibles 2 might not be top-of-the-line Pixar but it undoubtedly a fun and often funny family movie that is a great way to spend two hours and certainly brings back the good memories of the first film from over a decade ago.
