Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie BD + Screen Caps

Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie isn’t bad by any stretch, but this is the kind of movie aimed squarely at those in the 8-13 age group and while I didn’t the jokes landed that well, it’s passable enough for parents to watch with their kids.

Review: Central Intelligence UHD + Screen Caps

From just the tagline of “Saving the world takes a little Hart and a big Johnson”, Central Intelligence could’ve been a fun, if not throwaway, comedy but with very few laughs despite the ernest attempts by Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson, the film just did not work.

Review: Ride Along 2 BD + Screen Caps

Ride Along 2 is no better or worse than the original. You’ve pretty much got the same type of jokes and the performances from its core cast isn’t anything special, though presumably they at least had a good time while filming. The action is rather ho-hum and although I don’t mind Kevin Hart, even he seemed to be going through the motions.

Grudge Match Blu-ray Review

Grudge Match is an affable sports comedy which only works due to the charisma and on-screen status of Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone alongside a nice collection of supporting players including Kevin Hart, Alan Arkin and Kim Basinger, who all contribute so much from a lackluster screenplay.
