The Godfather Trilogy is another (almost) great set from Paramount with a plethora of bonus features and excellent video and audio transfers. My only qualm is, like the DVD set, they’ve gone back to the cardboard digi-pak which means you’re SOL if any of them get damaged.
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced the date and released artwork for the drama-comedy from Sofia Coppola and stars Bill Murray, Rashida Jones and Marlon Wayans.

Does The Godfather Coda fix all of the issues from Part III? For the most part I’d say yes viewing this as an epilogue does help matters.

As a fan of Sofia Coppola, I was disappointed with The Beguiled, a film with paper-thin characters and a rather dull and trite plot that leads to an ineffectual finale. That said, I will give it some points for Farrell and Kidman’s performances and what production design I could see was well done.
