The Godfather Trilogy is another (almost) great set from Paramount with a plethora of bonus features and excellent video and audio transfers. My only qualm is, like the DVD set, they’ve gone back to the cardboard digi-pak which means you’re SOL if any of them get damaged.
Does The Godfather Coda fix all of the issues from Part III? For the most part I’d say yes viewing this as an epilogue does help matters.
Single White Female is a well made suspense-thriller made so due to some wonderful performances from both Bridget Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh who in particular was frightening.
Lake Placid is a fun horror-comedy, with more emphasis on humor, that might not be the best written flick but it’s a breezy enough 82-minutes of sarcastic one-liners and characters, albeit mostly on-dimensional, that you actually enjoy watching, especially a fouled-mouthed Betty White in a small yet pivotal role.
