Project Ithaca Blu-ray Review

Project Ithaca is a mess of a film between some bad acting mixed with haphazard script and scattershot editing, beyond that it’s just that compelling of a story, this is the type of movie that would wind up as part of free option on Amazon Prime.

Rambo: Last Blood 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Review

Rambo: Last Blood might not have the same feel compared with the others in the series, but I still found this to be a compelling action-thriller and another good performance from Sylvester Stallone.

Semper Fi Blu-ray Review

Semper Fi is a drama that meanders in spots and the writing isn’t always the best, including the introduction of best friends at the opening which felt off, but outside of that, the acting at least was respectable.

Snow Falling on Cedars: Collector’s Edition Blu-ray Review

Snow Falling on Cedars is a poignant, somber little drama-mystery, with great cinematography, that for one reason or another has kind of been forgotten.

Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood Blu-ray Review

Acceleration Blu-ray Review

Acceleration is the very type of terrible movie that Amazon Prime members could watch for free and I’m pretty sure that could be where this one is headed in few months time.

The Gallows Act II Blu-ray Review

The Gallows Act II might be a slight step up from the first film if only because it’s a traditionally shot film versus the found footage style, but the story still isn’t the best and the acting mostly subpar (though I did like Ema Horvath in the lead).

IT: Chapter Two 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Review

IT Chapter Two is slightly better than the first movie mostly because I found the visuals to be more interesting, though still not scary and while I liked this ensemble, never really found much of an emotional connection.
