Funhouse is a Saw-like horror film featuring plenty of insufferable character being tortured. Some okay makeup effects but a pretty forgettable film as a whole.

Stardust is a biopic on David Bowie’s early career starring Johnny Flynn and Jena Malone. Shout Factory releases the movie on Blu-ray and DVD.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It might break the formula a bit but I found myself a little disconnected and the primary saving grace is once again with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, both still great together and gives the film the necessary heart.

Jurassic Hunt was is an el-cheapo direct-to-video action science fiction film starring Courtney Loggins, Ruben Fla and Tarkan Dospil.
Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard is probably an unnecessary sequel and it does have its flaws from a flimsy plot and some of the humor doesn’t work, but for the most part I did like the core main characters and the addition of Salma Hayek was the highlight.

Strike Commando 2 is a more (on purpose) comedic than the first movie and while it’s still not good per se, I do think there’s enough to make this a fun evening viewing amongst friends to mock and laugh at.
Strike Commando might be an unabashed rip-off of Rambo but there’s plenty of be entertained by, well at least in how bad it is. This is the kind of movie to make fun off MST3K style although it is tough sitting through alone…
Overall, the Friday the 13th: 8 Movie Collection offers the movies under license by Paramount and while it does not include any new features from the Shout Factory box set, if you can get this at a reasonable price, you will get upgraded picture on the first four films.
