Hudson Hawk Blu-ray Review

Hudson Hawk isn’t as bad of a movie as it’s been made to be, but certainly not great by any stretch as some of the humor, not to mention the overcomplicated story, doesn’t always work.

L.A. Story Blu-ray Review

L.A. Story is a comfort movie, nothing overly complicated and the conflict pretty light, to go along with some of the quirky scenes. It’s just an all around fun flick that still holds up thanks to Steve Martin with both his performance and writing.

Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard 4K Ultra HD & Blu-ray Review

Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard is probably an unnecessary sequel and it does have its flaws from a flimsy plot and some of the humor doesn’t work, but for the most part I did like the core main characters and the addition of Salma Hayek was the highlight.

The Age of Innocence: The Criterion Collection BD + Screen Caps

The Age of Innocence is an all around rich experience between the costumes, production/sets and a fine cast led way by Daniel Day-Lewis and Michelle Pfeiffer. It certainly was an unusual choice for Martin Scorsese yet like any master filmmaker, really pulled it off.

Review: Warlock Collection BD + Screen Caps

The Warlock movies are silly and at least in the case of the first two, they embrace their silliness and although the sequel isn’t as good, there’s some entertainment value, but the first is easily the best while the third is, well, better than expected, not that that’s saying much.

Review: Logan BD + Screen Caps

Logan is one hell of a film, a modern day western with tortured soul of a character who happens to have claws. Hugh Jackman once again gives it his all and thankfully this time around, the writing was far superior over the previous solo films.
