Super 8 4K Ultra HD Review

Super 8 is yet another well made film by J.J. Abrams, a solid follow-up to the sci-fi reboot/re-imagining of Star Trek. The movie is certainly a nostalgic trip back to the 80s but Abrams puts his own stamp on it, albeit still with plenty of Spielberg’s influence.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker 4K Ultra HD & Blu-ray Review

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker isn’t a terrible movie as there are a few entertaining moment and the performance from Adam Driver, the only consistent of the cast throughout this new trilogy.

Overlord 4K Ultra HD & Blu-ray Review

Overlord is one hell of a thrill ride that combined World War II drama (with respect if not historic flexibility) and zombie horror and the combination was a lot of fun thanks to creative direction and a charismatic ensemble cast.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Blu-ray Review

Although hardly perfect, and doesn’t hold a candle to A New Hope or Empire Strikes Back, The Force Awakens is still an entertaining sci-fi action/adventure that not only brings back the old crew but does a great job introducing a new cast of characters as portrayed by Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Adam Driver.
