The Irishman was a little disappointing if only for the amount of praise the film received from both the professional and regular everyday movie-watchers, however it was great to see three veteran actors together.

8 Heads in a Duffel Bag is a movie I remember seeing advertising for back in 1997, and no wonder with a distinct title like that. As a movie, there are some darkly fun scenes mainly for Joe Pesci who is in his element in the Mafioso role.

Eureka is a bit of a forgotten film from the 1980s, one that is doubtful to be mentioned amongst Gene Hackman’s greats with an uneven story that goes from an adventurous first half, the best part, to a Citizen Kane-like story for the second and a third act playing out like a bad episode of “Law & Order”.
