Tales from the Darkside: The Movie has two decent stories, one was dull and the other, the wrap-around, so-so. Still, it’s an anthology film worth checking out.

Deathstroke: Knights and Dragons is a well done animated movie and good enough substitution for a live action feature that is unlikely to happen. I did like the story, bridging together the character’s interesting backstory.

Batwoman is pretty much in line with other CW shows, meaning the writing, and dialogue, aren’t exactly top notch and here even the acting never quite jives, even Ruby Rose whom I really like, never fit.

The Phantom of the Opera is an entertaining enough adaptation thanks to a heartfelt performance from Herbert Lom. The Blu-ray release from Shout Factory has a good selection of bonus features and high-quality video/audio transfers.

There is no doubt Tinto Brass is a fascinating character and filmmaker, mostly known for directing Caligula, and these two films, P.O. Box Tinto Brass and IsTintoBrass gives some insights into the man, the second one especially.
The Specials has some aspects of a young James Gunn personality though the humor is a bit raw as is the plot, which was done better in 1999’s Mystery Men.
