Batwoman is pretty much in line with other CW shows, meaning the writing, and dialogue, aren’t exactly top notch and here even the acting never quite jives, even Ruby Rose whom I really like, never fit.

Mission: Impossible II 4K Ultra HD Review + BD Screen Caps

Mission: Impossible II is easily my least favorite of the five movies in the series, not due to any technical issues, but Woo’s style did not fit in with the core feeling of a Mission: Impossible, not to mention Tom Cruise, as great and deadicated of an actor as he is, looked ridiculous performing kung-fu moves.

Review: The Vatican Tapes BD + Screen Caps

The Vatican Tapes is the latest of the poorly made exorcism/possession films. Is it the worst of the bunch? Not quite but considering at least a respectable enough cast, and a lead actress who could have a future, it was still in some sense disappointing.

Review: Taken 3 BD + Screen Caps

Taken 3 is a weak sequel and really the epitome of a money grab with a template screenplay by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kasen and frenetic direction by Olivier Megaton of some truly generic action scenes. It is disappointing that the series has devolved to this level but I suppose if you like Neeson and can set aside some of the absurd plot points, Taken 3 might make for throwaway entertainment.

Death Race3: Inferno is your typical direct-to-video movie meaning a script with thin character development, poor acting even by the pros (at least Dougray Scott seemed to have fun with his cackling) and generic action which leaves this more or less forgettable.
