Bound is still my favorite of The Wachowskis movies, even above The Matrix, which itself has also aged quite well. This one has two amazing performances from Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon and Joe Pantoliano for his part was wonderfully chaotic.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is I suppose one of the better offerings in the MonsterVerse but that may be faint praise given, outside of Kong: Skull Island, these movies tend to be forgettable and this one pays less focus on the humans at least.
Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan finally gets the character due treatment, though I was entertained by the feature films, giving him time to develop over the five season run, and John Krasinski showcasing his action and dramatic chops.
12 Strong is an action-war movie starring Chris Hemsworth, Michael Shannon and Michael Pena released in 2018. The 4K Ultra HD release from Warner comes with two featurettes.
The Ocean’s Trilogy finally makes its debut on 4K Ultra HD and both the video and audio transfers are solid upgrades over the old 2007 Blu-ray release and although a new retrospective featurette would’ve been nice.
Madame Web might have an interesting story somewhere but is another Sony/Marvel that fails just about at every level from the acting, writing and direction, it doesn’t even have that trainwreck aspect going for it either.
Icons Unearthed: Star Wars arrived on Blu-ray from Mill Crfeek on March 12th. This documentary features extended interviews totaling over six hours.
Wednesday: Season 1 arrives on Blu-ray via Warner Bros. on March 26th. This new take on the classic Addams Family centers around Wednesday, played brilliantly by Jenna Ortega, as she navigates high school.
Suits is a fun show with great characters and story arcs that still stay fresh over the course of the nine seasons; it’s no wonder why this is one of the most highly streamed shows ever.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom isn’t a terribly special sequel and the plot is rather weak, yet I still had a fun and entertaining thanks in large part to the dynamic between Jason Momoa and Patrick Wilson.
Carrie had the potential to be good with two fine leads in Chloe Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore but instead it proves to be yet another remake that wasn’t needed.
The 355 is a movie that feels awfully familiar from beginning to end and although I can respect some of the action scenes and stunt work, there’s really not very much here that was entertaining with a thin plot and characters.
