Vikings was never a show I could fully get into, but the performances all around aren’t half bad and, like Game of Thrones, feature some respectable production and costume designs.

Brigadoon BD + Screen Caps
Brigadoon isn’t exactly a well known musical-romance but it does have some catchy music for the era and two charming performances by Gene Kelly and Van Johnson.
The Green Slime BD + Screen Caps
The Green Slime is a ridiculously poorly produced 1960s science fiction horror film that is absolute fun that should be watched with a group of friends to mock MST3K style.
Batman vs. Two-Face BD + Screen Caps
Batman vs. Two-Face makes for a bittersweet swan-song for the late and great Adam West making his final foray as the Caped Crusader, a role he apparently relished until the end. This outing is a slight improvement over the disappointing Return of the Caped Crusaders with a stronger story and more compelling villain.
God of War BD
God of War isn’t a great war film but the action and fight sequences were well shot by action director Gordon Chan and the lead performance from Vincent Zhao was well balanced.
The Sea Wolf BD + Screen Caps
The Sea Wolf is a wonderful sea-adventure flick released back in 1941 and features some great performances including Edward G. Robinson and amazing Academy Award nominated special effects.
Impractical Jokers: The Complete Fifth Season DVD
Impractical Jokers: The Complete Fifth Season is pretty much up to snuff with its previous seasons and the jokes, as well as challenges, still are quite funny. The only downside is these season sets aren’t as well done probably because TruTV constantly reruns past episodes every day.

Down (a.k.a. The Shaft) BD + Screen Caps
Down (aka The Shaft) is an incredibly flawed but yet still quite entertaining supernatural horror flick that doesn’t have many surprises to offer and the writing isn’t the best, though watching this amongst friends makes for a good time.
The Collection BD + Screen Caps
The Collection is a very well made UK production featuring some great performances, Richard Coyle especially, and some excellent and award-worthy production/costume designs.
The Hidden BD + Screen Caps
The Hidden was quite the, well, gem, of a movie that I never really heard of, a film that was released in 1987 but got lost. My hope is with this Blu-ray release it’ll find some sort of bigger cult status as it is an incredibly fun flick.
Reign: The Complete Fourth Season DVD
Reign was never a show I could get into. As I mentioned previously, it is a glossy, CW-ized version of Game of Thrones (so basically no foul language, lewd sex scenes or graphic violence) but amongst the ‘tween crowd, they might eat up the cast and storylines.
The House BD + Screen Caps
Although not a terrible movie, or at least as terrible as I feared, The House was a misfire of a project for the normally, box office while anyway, Will Ferrell and even though I did manage to laugh a time or two, it is an entirely forgettable movie.
Within DVD
Within is a slow-plodding suspense-horror film that takes a bit too much time to get going but the finale isn’t half bad though hardly saves it, yet this might be worthy of a rental, not much more than that.
Superman: The Movie: Extended Cut Blu-ray Review
It is quite the time we live in for media, even if the physical is on the decline, as now after decades where it lived only on the bootleg forum, we finally get to see Superman: The Movie – Extended Cut aka the TV Version, restored in HD and although I’ll be sticking with the other version.

Bushwick BD + Screen Caps
Although the one-shot style was interesting and the performances from both Dave Bautista and Brittany Snow were alright, I did find the premise to be utterly ludicrous though obviously this was a metaphor of today’s politics.
