Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later I thought was an entertaining movie and although it does have that late 90s slasher vibe revitalized thanks to Scream, it’s still a decent enough Halloween film, and one better than the more recent reboot trilogy.
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is one of the better feature films with the Dark Knight and just a well written and amazingly animated film all around with a great voice cast.

The Flash is an entertaining if not also flawed movie that is probably is one of the better offerings from DC in a while, though maybe that’s faint praise. I did like the humor and of course seeing Michael Keaton back again was the highlight.
The Ranown Westerns comes to 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray from The Criterion Collection and features five films directed by Budd Boetticher and starring Randolph Scott.

Enter the Dragon is a great martial arts suspense-thriller starring the enigmatic Bruce Lee in his final film and while it’s nothing groundbreaking in terms of the plot, there is enough there to keep it entertaining from beginning to end.
Roman Holiday is a lovely and light-hearted romantic comedy-drama with two charismatic performances from both Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck. This 4K Ultra HD release has good video and audio transfers to go along with an okay set of features.
Fast X might have some good stunts and a great over-the-top villain performance from Jason Momoa, but otherwise you really couldn’t care about any of these characters. Perhaps it’s worth a rental especially if you’ve made it this far in the franchise but it is running out of steam at this juncture.
Scream VI, while satisfying enough as a horror-slasher time-waster, is one of the weaker entries and is probably on par with last year’s addition, so if that one wasn’t to your taste, this one might not change your mind on the current filmmakers.
The Truman Show is a great movie and has staying power in the age we live in and features a wonderful performance from Jim Carrey showing his range and ability to do dramatic roles as well as comedy.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is an entertaining movie although it is the throwaway variety of entertainment as it’s easily forgotten soon after it’s over, but while watching, I did have fun with the ensemble cast.

John Wick: Chapter 4 isn’t the strongest entry in the series but still highly entertaining if not a bit on the lengthy side. Keanu Reeves is still in his element as are the stunts and action scenes under Chad Stahelski’s direction.

Evil Dead Rise is a decent entry into the franchise that features some great gore effects, during the finale especially. As someone who is only a moderate fan of the series, I found this was to be entertaining but nothing terribly memorable.

Vacation is a movie that I’ve seen numerous times and it still manages to make me laugh. In regards to this 4K UHD release, the video transfer is adequate but hardly amazing and the hour-long documentary is missing.

The Seventh Seal comes to 4K Ultra HD from The Criterion Collection. Among the Swedish cast, it includes veteran actor, Max von Sydow. Features include an audio commentary, documentary and more.
Shazam: Fury of the Gods is a perfectly entertaining time-waster (frankly, not unlike Black Adam) but it does lack the charm of its predecessor, however Zachary Levi still is great in the lead.
