Flashdance is at times cheesy — as many of these 1980s dramas tended to be — but it’s entertaining, features a great soundtrack and incredible performance from a phenomenal performance from Jennifer Beals.
Vampire’s Kiss was one hell of an experience and after some momentary bewilderment of what I was watching, and in particular Nicolas Cage’s wild performance, I was full-on in with this masterpiece that generated many memes.

At the core, there is plenty of potential with a Taken television series and while the first season was pretty bad in terms of the writing, with the apparent big changes for the second season, hopefully the course will be corrected.
Devil in a Blue Dress is a fine drama/thriller propelled by its performances more so than the plot. Denzel Washington, Jennifer Beals and even Tom Sizemore, who straddles the line of hammy acting, all are good and make this a worthwhile venture. The Blu-ray released by Twilight Time is decent but not great with so-so bonus material though the video and audio transfers are nice.
