The West Wing this is not, but Madam Secretary is a fine enough television series with a respectable cast, though some of the writing, and dialogue especially, wasn’t great.

Dark Waters is a well made, legal drama that’s in the same vein as 1999’s The Insider and while I don’t feel it’s as effectively directed by Todd Haynes, it is still well worth checking out.

Shooting the Mafia Blu-ray Review
Shooting the Mafia isn’t the strongest documentary, though in fairness I don’t watch or review a whole lot of them generally, but even so this is one that seemed to ride the line between two subjects and isn’t fulfilling in either.
