Vanquish is your typical direct-to-video (or digital) film that might have a great actor like Morgan Freeman and an adequate actress in Ruby Rose, but everything else doesn’t quite work, B/C level stuff that happened to get some recognizable faces.

The Doorman doesn’t have a whole lot new to offer in the thriller genre as it is filled with plenty of clichés, but I still found it relatively entertaining even if the material isn’t anything unique.
Pitch Perfect 3 is the conclusion to a trilogy that honestly didn’t need one. I can’t precisely remember why I enjoyed the first two only to say that I did (according to my ratings on IMDb) but this one was pointless and even the music doesn’t overcome a disorganized plot, even though the cast at least seemed to be having a good time.
xXx: Return of Xander Cage, like the first movie, is technically not good but with that had over this entry was a sense it was competently made and was for sure this was a good 8-10 years too late. Having said that, they seem to be set up for a truly fun fourth movie.
