Playing with Fire Blu-ray Review

Playing with Fire is strictly made for kids, and perfectly fine to be watched with the parents, and even though some of the jokes don’t land, I at least felt it was a tolerable viewing experience.

The Lion King Blu-ray Review

The Lion King is one of the most lazily impressive movies and it’s yet another pointless live action remake that only solidifies Disney’s warpath to re-imagining their animated classics as it went well past the $1 billion mark.

Toy Story 4 Blu-ray Review

Toy Story 4, while hardly the best in the franchise, is still a great bookend, maybe not so much for the group as a whole, but instead for the beloved Woody character and in turn, the life Tom Hanks gave him.

The Star BD + Screen Caps

The Star technically isn’t a great animated movie by any stretch but it is perfectly safe and unlike The Emoji Movie, did illicit a few laughs from me and never once came across as cynical, and the voice talents was pretty impressive while the animation, albeit nothing extraordinary, was passable.

That said, this isn’t a good movie per se but a passable one that I probably would put on the same level as European Vacation and Vegas Vacation.

Hell Baby Blu-ray Review

In spite of a truly funny beginning, Hell Baby does tend to wear out its welcome even though the ending is satisfactory enough. However, if you enjoyed “Reno 911” and “Children’s Hospital”, the comedic styles will definitely be up your ally and help get through some of duller and dumber moments.
