Review: Office Christmas Party BD + Screen Caps

Office Christmas Party is yet another comedy with an amazing, and mostly proven, cast (Aniston is probably the standout) that fails due to a screenplay that lacked consistent laughs and features an absolutely cringe-worthy finale.

Review: Masterminds BD + Screen Caps

Masterminds is a poorly made comedy-caper that has a respectable cast in Galifianakis, Wilson, Wiig and, in a limited role, Sudeikis but both director Jared Hess and the trio of writers can’t make use of any of them with the majority of the jokes failing miserably.

Ghostbusters (2016) Blu-ray Review

Ghostbusters (2016) isn’t the hot mess the trailers showed it could’ve been (this year’s Alice Through the Looking Glass was far worse) and yet for all of the potential with a talented cast, the screenplay which was co-scripted by Paul Feig, was pretty bad, with the jokes falling utterly flat.

Review: The Angry Birds Movie BD + Screen Caps

The Angry Birds Movie might be fine for younger viewers and the animation looks gorgeous, the voice cast talented and a decent enough core story but the jokes fell flat and I was mostly bored throughout its 90-minute running time.

Review: Sisters BD + Screen Caps

Sisters had plenty of potential given the cast, writer and director all with impressive resumes. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who don’t have a whole lot to work with and seemed to rely on improvising than anything from the script, do at least share nice comedic chemistry; outside of those two, though, there weren’t a whole lot of genuinely funny scenes.
