Review: Deepwater Horizon 4K UHD/BD + Screen Caps

Deepwater Horizon is an intense action-disaster flick that takes the genre to the next level considering it’s based on actual events. The performances by Mark Wahlberg and Kurt Russell are top notch while John Malkovich was a bit distracting but still an effective antagonist.

Review: Kung Fu Panda 3 BD + Screen Caps

Kung Fu Panda is perhaps one of the better franchises outside of the Pixar/Disney brand and certainly well above the likes of Madagascar and Ice Age. Still, as family friendly as this third entry is, to go along with a positive message, I wasn’t nearly as entertained though admittedly I found the first two to be merely above average fare anyway.

Good People Blu-ray Review

Good People tells the same story that has been done countless times before but does excel, albeit on a limited-basis, to a fine cast including James Franco, Kate Hudson and Tom Wilkinson, all three of whom do a good job while relative newcomer Omar Sy, to the U.S. anyway, is wasted with a cardboard cutout bad guy character laughably nicknamed Genghis Khan.
