Backtrack had an interesting enough premise, a hitman falling for his target, but the execution was less than effective, though Dennis Hopper’s performance was something to behold.

Escape from Alcatraz is an all around entertaining suspense-thriller, pretty simple and straight forward though enough character development to get the viewer to care about these men.
Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins probably has a decent concept but the execution wasn’t the best and Fred Ward, as fine of a character he might be, doesn’t quite work in the lead. Still, there is some entertainment value.
No Escape is an all around entertaining film perfect for a Saturday movie night. No, it doesn’t make you think or have any profound performances but the acting isn’t bad with Owen Wilson serving as a fine everyman type of character and Pierce Brosnan in his small part is a lot of fun. This is probably worthy of a rental.
Escape from Alcatraz is one of my personal favorites from Clint Eastwood and although it’s hardly perfect, it is efficient in both its story telling as well as character development giving us just enough to care about the outcomes.
