The Wind, starring Meg Foster, Wings Hauser and David McCallum arrived on Blu-ray through Arrow Video back in April and includes a new interview with the director and the complete score composed in part by Hans Zimmer.
Sixteen Candles is another home-run from John Hughes, further proving his amazing influence on the 1980s that still resonates to this day. This Blu-ray release from Arrow Video offers up great video and audio transfers to go along with some good bonus material.

Impractical Jokers is an incredibly funny show throughout its eight seasons and this movie has its moments and a few of the challenges had me laughing though the scripted segments felt like the filler.

Braveheart is one hell of a film with a powerful performance from Mel Gibson, even when his Scottish accent wasn’t always the best. Beyond that, his direction was well done with some great choreographed battle scenes.

Sunday in New York debuts on Blu-ray courtesy of the Warner Archive Collection and stars Rod Taylor, Jane Fonda, Cliff Robertson and Robert Culp.
Sniper: Assassin’s End is not a movie featuring high-octane, finely crafted action or fight sequences and while I was moderately entertained and never found it to be dull, I can’t say this is something I’ll remember down the line.
The Dallas Connection is another Sidaris movie that doesn’t really stand out over the rest, though having recently also watched Enemy Gold, does have a more competent plot, take that for what it’s worth, and Julie Strain is beautiful as ever.
Enemy Gold is no better or worse than most of Sidaris’ films, though it’s also really indistinguishable as outside of a scene or two, they all kind of blend together.
Gladiator is a tremendous movie that still holds up so well after all of these years, and this coming someone who really didn’t fully appreciate it upon its initial theatrical release. Seeing the “Extended Edition” version for a second time and thought it was remarkable.
