Viva is an interesting satirical take on 1970s sexploitation and has some great segments from Anna Biller, however with a two hour running time it does ramble and probably could’ve shed 20-25 minutes.
A Quiet Place Part II might not be as good as its predecessor but I still would say it’s worth a watch as there are some moments of suspense even when characters make questionable decisions.
Die in a Gunfight looked like it could’ve been a fun, off-the-rails action-thriller and instead is a Romeo and Juliet story that never really clicks and there’s not a whole lot that was actually entertaining and the two leads didn’t have much chemistry.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond: Season One is the second spin-off from the hit TV series, this one seemingly aimed more at a teen audience. The Blu-ray and DVD was released on June 15th and comes with a few featurettes.
Royal Deceit is a period piece taking liberties with Shakesepeare but does feature a great cast that includes Christian Bale, Helen Mirren, Kate Beckinsale, Gabriel Byrne and Andy Serkis in his feature film debut.
The Widow Couderc is a drama starring Alain Delon, Simone Sigmoret and Ottavia Piccolo and debuts on Blu-ray from Kino Lorber, released on July 7th.
Saving Silverman is a movie of its time with its core cast, especially Jason Biggs coming off the American Pie and its sequel, and an early film from Jack Black.
Midnight in the Switchgrass is another straight-to-video (or streaming) flick that might grab ones attention seeing Bruce Willis and/or Megan Fox on the cover but what you get is a half-baked story, some shoddy editing and another sleepwalking performance from Willis.
Working Girls comes to Blu-ray, as well as DVD, courtesy of The Criterion Collection and comes with an audio commentary and a couple new interviews.
Seance, starring Suki Waterhouse, Madisen Beaty, Ella-Rae Smith and Inanna Sarkis, is a weird mix of 90s slasher and supernatural horror. The release from RLJ includes a commentary track, featurette, deleted scenes and an image gallery.
I Wouldn’t Be in Your Shoes debuts on Blu-ray courtesy of the Warner Archive Collection receiving a new video restoration and stars Don Castle, Elyse Knox and Regis Toomey.
G.I. Joe: Retaliation actually isn’t a terrible movie, thanks in large part to Dwayne Johnson, and a fair step up from Rise of the Cobra but it’s still a relatively generic action movie with nothing discernibly memorable about the action set pieces or the standard plot itself.
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra had some entertaining elements but between some sleepwalking performances and some shoddy visual effects, even by 2008/09 standards, this was a mess of a film.
This Weird Wisconsin collection has some… not so good movies from filmmaker Bill Rebane. I would guess those who have an appreciation for these shoe-string budgeted films, or are from that region, might get something out of this.
