Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood may not be Tarantino’s strongest film though I did enjoy this experience more than The Hateful Eight thanks to his attention to detail for the era along with some fun performances by both DiCaprio and Pitt.
Wild Cherry is yet another comedy trying to repeat/copy better movies but doesn’t measure up in any way. I do have some respect for Tania Raymonde for her, um, “commitment” but otherwise it’s more cheap shelf filler at Best Buy and Wal-Mart. The Blu-ray itself is also nothing special and is a quick release for Image Entertainment.
Sorority Row may just be another slasher pic with some unique kills but the finale is the real killer of this film. However, the audio and video are both solid and although I would’ve liked to have seen better featurettes than the standard EPK-like one’s we got, the Picture-in-Picture track is decent but the audio and video are both quite good and make this set a slightly above average Blu-ray.
