Hellboy (2019) 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Review

Hellboy is just another movie with too many cooks in the kitchen although I’m not entirely sure even if Neil Marshall had full autonomy this would’ve been all that better of a movie anyway.

Review: Daddy’s Home BD + Screen Caps

Daddy’s Home might have a few laughs but it’s just another forgettable Will Ferrell comedy with sloppy writing and jokes that mostly are lame than actually funny, not to mention a sugar-heavy ending that was just awful, though family friendly I guess.

Review: Max BD + Screen Caps

Max is a nice if not forgettable family flick, featuring good performances from the cast including Josh Wiggins, Thomas Haden Church and relative newcomer Mia Xitali. It’s nothing extraordinary and has a bit of the cheese factor in some scenes yet, and in spite of the thematic elements, is well worth watching especially for families as it does highlight an important part of the military.

Review: Tales from the Crypt Presents Demon Knight BD + Screen Caps

Tales from the Crypt Presents Demon Knights is a fun horror-comedy with some good performances, though none better than Billy Zane who chews the scenery like no other and has a good old time playing the outlandish villain. The movie itself is quite entertaining and features some impressive make-up effects and even the VFX, for its time, isn’t all that bad.
