Star Trek: Discovery Season Four arrives on Blu-ray and DVD from Paramount on December 6th and includes several featurettes, an episode commentary, deleted scenes and a gag reel.
Star Trek: Picard – Season Two comes to Blu-ray by Paramount and stars Patrick Stewart, Alison Pill, Michelle Hurd and Brent Spiner. Features include several featurettes, deleted/extended scenes and a gag reel.
Crash isn’t a movie I found all that great though my interest was mainly for some of the controversy and honestly as strange as the “plot” and characters were, it’s not that out of bounds at least nowadays.
The Star Trek: The Original 4-Movie Collection is a solid enough of a set and does have respectable 4K video along with the audio which is likely the same from past Blu-ray releases, even so still high quality.

Star Trek: Lower Decks is an animated sci-fi comedy from Mike McMahan and features the voice talents of Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid, Noel Wells and Jerry O’Connell. This 10-episode set comes out on May 18th.
Star Trek: Picard – Season One isn’t great especially with seeing Patrick Stewart returning to his iconic character, but I found it watchable however I’ve never been an avid viewer of TNG or any other Trek incarnation growing up.
Star Trek: Short Treks I suppose is a decent bridge between seasons and if you’re a big fan of Star Trek: Discovery and its characters, these might be entertaining short episodes.
Star Trek Discover: Season Two I found to be an okay season I suppose but I’m not steeped in the history of Star Trek as a whole so any changes or updates didn’t bother me, although it’s pretty obvious to keep fans, they needed to include the old guard.
The Star Trek: Picard – Movie & TV Collection is not a release for fans of the franchise but those who have a low or at best moderate interest in the series but never purchased the original TNG movie collection.
Even though I was not a major fan of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine having limited experience watching the series, What We Left Behind is still a compelling enough documentary.
I was relatively surprised that I enjoyed Star Trek: Discovery especially considering some of the backlash among certain segments as well as that the writing could be a bit clunky but got roped in as the season went along.
Star Trek Voyager was a great show in the Trek universe though probably doesn’t get the same love as compared with the original series or The Next Generation, but it was still an entertaining series featuring a solid cast.
Star Trek: Enterprise is considered the bastard child in the Trek universe and perhaps dead last compared with others like The Next Generation, Voyager and Deep Space 9. And while certainly there were some bad episodes, I did find as the seasons went on, I found them to be mostly entertaining.
Star Trek: The Animated Series is a fine release from Paramount and although the animation itself has all the hallmarks from the 1970s, the stories at least are well written and these serve nicely as unofficial fourth and fifth seasons of the original series, highlighted by its original cast.
