Teen Titans Go! To the Movies is a well done if not kind of pointless adaptation of a series that’s still on the air. Even so, the in-jokes is what carried it for me more so than the humor, voice acting or the animation itself, which I’ve never been a big fan of.

Kick-Ass is a fun, hard-knuckled comic book movie that came many years before Deadpool became a hit it did. The highlights, beyond the R-rating language and violence, are the performances from a very young Chloe Grace Moretz, Nicolas Cage and Aaron Johnson.

It’s, well, Inconceivable how a movie like this could get made as the story has been done numerous times before, no doubt countless Lifetime Movies, but worst of all, been done better before with the likes of The Hand That Rocks the Cradle. As it is, there’s not much to really enjoy from this.

Arsenal is the type of movie that makes you wonder who exactly is financing it with a bad script and a so-so performance by its lead actor. The only redeeming value, if you can call it that, is seeing Nic Cage doing vintage Nic Cage who is wildly hilarious.

Well intentioned as it might have been, and telling a World War II story that’s probably not familiar to the average American, USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage features lazy performances, especially by Nicolas Cage though he does have a couple okay scenes, and some laughable visual effects.
