Review: The Accountant 4K/BD + Screen Caps

The Accountant is a well done, albeit short of greatness, suspense-thriller from director Gavin O’Connor featuring a great performance from Ben Affleck with honorable mention for J.K. Simmons.

Review: The D Train BD + Screen Caps

The D Train is just plain awkward through and through and for me, awkward does not equal funny and that’s to go along with obnoxious characters. The Blu-ray release is simple enough featuring good video/audio and minimal bonus material.

The Hangover Part III Blu-ray Review

The Hangover Part III by definition as unnecessary but despite two cruel scenes as well as some scenes that just didn’t hit the mark, I still enjoyed this sequel although I’m not sure if it’s because it’s actually funny or if it’s relative to the fact Part II was a complete rehash of the first sans laughs. In any case, I’m not giving this a glowing review for the obvious reasons however it is at least worth a rental.

RTeaching Mrs. Tingle Blu-ray Review

Teaching Mrs. Tingle was never my favorite film but with some biting dialogue and an amazing performance from Helen Mirren, challenging Meryl Streep in The Devil Wars Prada, this teen dark comedy has gathered a following over the years, far more than when it was released back in 1999.
