Beverly Hills 90210 was not a show I had grown up watching as I was only around 9/10 when it first aired and never got into even during my teen years, however it has stood the test of time as a fun primetime soap opera.
Fatale isn’t a great movie but I can appreciate the pulpy, neo-nourish elements and nice to see Hilary Swank and Michael Ealy who both give solid performances.
The Hunt is a controversial movie that in the end wasn’t all that controversial and instead it’s an entertaining enough horror-thriller-comedy but ultimately not all that memorable.
While neither Karate Kid Part III nor The Next Karate Kid are great entries in the series, far from it, there are some cheesy fun moments in both and also nice seeing Hilary Swank early in her career.
The most intriguing aspect of Steven Soderbergh’s latest heist film, Logan Lucky, was who exactly wrote it as “Rebecca Blunt” apparently doesn’t exist. Beyond that, the crime and comedy aspects didn’t appeal to me at all and I found the film to be a bit dull at times.
The praise for Million Dollar Baby might have waned over the years and upon its release got its fair share of spoofs, but 8 years later I still loved just about every minute of it even if it’s as depressing as all hell.
