When a Stranger Calls is an entertaining suspense-thriller featuring fine performances from lead actors Charles Durning and Carol Kane, and while this is a barebones release by Mill Creek, it is the right price point to pick up.
When a Stranger Calls Back isn’t as good as the original, at least from my memory, but does contain a few genuinely thrilling scenes starting out with the first 20-mintes which was well shot and acted.
Home for the Holidays is, to me anyway, holiday classic that probably doesn’t get the attention it deserves. While Planes, Trains and Automobiles is in its own right a great Thanksgiving film, this one deserves its place on the holiday as well.
