New Year’s Evil is a ho-hum horror movie with little horror and the kills pretty standard. Save for the finale, this is a bore of a film that might have a minor following but for myself, little about this was enjoyable outside of Kip Niven’s creepy but fun performance.

The French suspense-thriller film Armageddon arrives on Blu-ray from KL Studio Classics and stars Alain Delon and Jean Yanne, and comes out April 5th.
A Star is Born comes to Blu-ray finally getting the long-awaited restoration work from the folks at the Warner Archive Collection. This original 1937 version stars Janet Gaynor and Fredric March.
Magnum, P.I. was an iconic show from the 1980s and succeeded through its eight seasons thanks to the charm of Tom Selleck along with a fun core supporting cast, led by John Hillerman.

Reform School Girls is a fun and entertaining 1980s sexploitation featuring some lovely women and decent enough acting all things considered, along with a wild, chaotic finale.
Vikings: The Complete Series arrives on Blu-ray and DVD from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and includes all of the extras from the individual season releases and is out this past Tuesday, March 15th.

The Matrix Resurrections is far from terrible and it’s not the worst amongst the sequels, but it can’t recapture the magic of the original, however I did like the movie whenever Reeves and Moss were onscreen together.
