Shivers: Vestron Video Collector’s Series Blu-ray Review

Shivers was a surprisingly entertaining parasite horror movie that is more or less akin to a zombie flick and works really well especially for being a low budget film. It also shows just the greatness of 1970s cinema.

Gothic BD + Screen Caps

Gothic was released in 1986 but might as well have been filmed in the ‘60s with its psychedelic-like filmmaking style which some might find a lot of fun, but I felt was more confusing and even tedious. The Lair of the White Worm Blu-ray Review

The Lair of the White Worm is a fun and uber-campy horror-comedy from the 1980s that might not be well written, even for camp, and could’ve used some tightening of the story, yet it’s hard to say it wasn’t at least entertaining.

Review: Return of the Living Dead 3 BD + Screen Caps

Return of the Living Dead 3 is of course a silly horror film with a romantic twist; the performance by a young Melinda Clarke (credited as Mindy Clarke) is fantastic playing a still sexy undead.
