Blade is far from perfect and has moments that scream 1990s in its editing but I do like Snipes in the lead and the movie as a whole was somewhat entertaining, warts and all.
Barb Wire had the potential to be a wild, bat-s insane sci-fi actioner and instead we get a sloppily edited movie with some poor performances combined with a bad script and pedestrian directing.
Puppet Master: Littlest Reich is a reboot to the long-running franchise and while it’s not a great film, still had some fun entertainment value and as a fan of Thomas Lennon, was nice to see the actor in a lead role.
What Suspiria lacks in substance, both in terms of story and characters, it more than makes up for in incredible and beautiful production design and lighting, as well as some well-tensed scenes.
The actual Brawl in Cell Block 99 may only take up a few minutes of the two-hour film, yet I found it engrossing with a compelling plot and a main character played by Vince Vaughn you actually care about.
