Trauma Center is, and this is not saying much, not the worst of these DTV releases I’ve watched, but it’s on the forgettable side with Bruce Willis mailing it in (again), although I did like Nicky Whelan in the lead.
Home for the Holidays is, to me anyway, holiday classic that probably doesn’t get the attention it deserves. While Planes, Trains and Automobiles is in its own right a great Thanksgiving film, this one deserves its place on the holiday as well.
This 2005 TV adaptation of The Poseidon Adventure is pretty awful. Not only is the acting bad, I honestly expected a bit more from Rutger Hauer and even Peter Weller, it’s a story stretched across 170+ minutes, it is quite tedious to sit through.
Lavalantula is the latest SyFy Original Movie trying to capitalize on the Sharknado trend hoping something else will catch on. One thing I will say about this one, it’s not quite as fun as Sharknado but it has some moments and its nice seeing Steve Guttenberg in the lead…
