Hollywood’s Greatest Screen Legends set might be cool in theory but these are episodes of something called “Hollywood Remembers” from 2000 and these were not professionally produced though you can at least see the passion as I doubt this was some money ploy.
Bad Day at Black Rock is a wonderful gem of a crime-drama featuring a fantastic cast from Spencer Tracy to Ernest Borgnine and Lee Marvin not to mention a taut screenplay and conspiratorial plot.

Broken Lance is a well made studio Western from the 1950s that features, no surprise, top notch performances most notably Spencer Tracy. The shooting locales and production design is commendable to go along with Leigh Harline’s score, which is available as an isolated track.
Inherit the Wind is one of Stanley Kramer’s best films amongst an already amazing filmography and features a fine performance by Spencer Tracy.
Judgment at Nuremberg is an engrossing, engaging and thought provoking court room drama featuring incredible performances from Spencer Tracy, Burt Lancaster and Richard Widmark.
This round 20th Century Fox Studio Classics releases gives a wide range of movies for any fan of the era going from the 1930s to the 1960s. Each movie provides excellent video and audio transfers and although the features are limited, those with commentary tracks are well worth listening to.
