Overall, I can’t say it enough that the original Scream is right up there with Halloween and Friday the 13th with an amazing cast ensemble and a production that overcame the odds and made an iconic movie.

CSI: NY – The Complete Series DVD Review

CSI: NY was probably my second favorite of the three shows in the franchise, though CSI: Miami has some amazingly good-bad moments whereas this is pretty straight forward, and I do love Gary Sinise in the lead alongside a nice supporting cast.

The Craft: Collector’s Edition Blu-ray Review

The Craft is actually a fun little teen-witch drama from the mid-90s and even though it’s hardly perfect, the film was entertaining and featured good performances from its core cast.

Riverdale: The Complete First Season BD + Screen Caps

Riverdale: The Complete First Season actually was far better than I expected even if some of the teen angst clichés are present, but the cast is mostly likeable with Camila Mendes probably being the standout of the bunch. I commend the writers for this compelling freshman season.

Review: Robot Chicken: Christmas Specials DVD

The “Robot Chicken”: Christmas Specials collection is geared more toward casual fans as, from what I can tell, everything on this disc was previously released in some fashion in the season sets, features included. The DVD itself has OK audio and video while the commentaries are at least entertaining.

Robot Chicken: Season 5 Blu-ray Review

“Robot Chicken” is easily one of the funniest shows on television and a personal favorite of mine. This fifth season, while not the strongest in its run, has some funny bits and like before, a great collection of guest voice talents. Seth Green and company also know how to package a home video release with plenty of features to justify the price given each episode is only 11-12 minutes long.
