Inside Daisy Clover debuted on Blu-ray courtesy of the Warner Archive Collection and stars the lovely Natalie Wood, Christopher Plummer and Robert Redford.
All is Lost features a top-notch and award-worthy performance from Robert Redford in an ambitious film from writer/director Chandor making a solid follow-up to Margin Call. I can easily say this is well worth a rental.
The Way We Were is a great, if not sappy, romantic drama propelled up by its two leads, Robert Redford and Barbara Streisand, who are so perfect together sharing two of the best on-screen chemistry.
The Horse Whisperer is an all around beautiful movie. The story is both heartbreaking and ultimately uplifting, the cinematography is Oscar-worthy (unfortunately it was not nominated), the direction inspiring and the acting, especially from Redford and Thomas, amazing.
All the President’s Men is one of those rare movies that stand the test of time in both quality and subject matter. Not only is the story fascinating but the components of the film itself top notch from the performances from the stars and supporting actors to the screenplay and direction, it’s just a film that should be seen for its nuances and drama.
