Bad Ronald is a movie I honestly never heard of before but thanks to a bit of a strange Blu-ray release from the Warner Archive Collection, I actually had the pleasure of seeing.
9 to 5 is an oft funny social comedy thanks in large part to the trio of female leads, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton with honorable mention to Dabney Coleman for playing their jackass boss.
Amos & Andrew is kind of a lost comedy from the 1990s (akin to Quick Change and Another Stakeout) and although it’s not hilarious, it is a lot of fun to watch two normally over-the-top actors playing against one another in Nicolas Cage and Samuel L. Jackson and add in Dabney Coleman and it’s rather entertaining.
Downhill Racer is a well done crafted, and fantastically shot (the first-person view from the skier is exhilarating), sports movie with excellent performances by Robert Redford and Gene Hackman.
