The Walking Dead: The Complete Ninth Season is a solid enough entry into the series and offers some interesting little twists with the ensemble characters and the departure of one of the original cast in Andrew Lincoln.
The Walking Dead never was must-watch television for me and going on eight seasons, although it is certainly entertaining and engaging, I can’t say I’ll really watch it live nor do I find myself deeply invested with these characters, though the acting generally is strong.
Even though I’m not the biggest TWD fan, The Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special: Look Who’s Walking release does offer some laughs for both fans and non-fans alike, though the fans will likely get far more out of it.
Sky is a nice little character drama featuring solid performances by Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus who gets to show a slightly different side compared to his character on The Walking Dead.
Triple 9 didn’t exactly fulfill its potential given the cast and a solid start yet still it’s very entertaining with some well shot action scenes and fine performances by Casey Affleck, Woody Harrelson, Anthony Mackie and Clifton Collins Jr. who at times steals the show.
